Hosted by Working Families Party
Working Families Party is an independent, grassroots party dedicated to electing progressives and holding politicians accountable to stand up for the needs of ordinary working families. (If you're new to us, this isn't your typical third party -- we work hard to help good Dems and work to strengthen progressives within the Democratic party. Oh yeah, and we win things.) Coming off of some big successes in the last few weeks NY (helping elect D/WF Kathy Hochul in the upstate New York special election that turned the tide on the Ryan Medicare Plan) and CT (passing the nation's first statewide paid sick days law), we're growing in new states and thinking about how to make a difference on national issues that matter to working families. Come meet up with us at The Local Friday evening in Minneapolis to learn more and share your ideas.
