Join us at a professional development training for early childhood professionals that focuses on the latest research and practice for creating a strong foundation for early literacy development. This training will enhance knowledge of instructional practices and settings regarding oral literacy. This includes circle time, reading aloud, small group time, and play in the environment. Participants will learn how to better plan and implement a language rich classroom using specific techniques and activities throughout their environment. Space is limited for this workshop, so we urge you to register right away. The program will run as follows:
Session 1: Introduction to Oral Literacy
Lunch
Session 2: Circle Time and Read Alouds
Session 3: Small Group Instruction and Choice Time
