Immigration University

This issue is incredibly complex, and as the bill works its way through the Senate, we need to know what it means for our families, our communities and our country. What exactly do we mean when we call for comprehensive immigration reform? How is current immigration policy—or lack thereof—affecting our communities? And, what are the main obstacles to getting something passed that will benefit everyone?

We have partnered with the AFL-CIO to offer Immigration University. The webinar is part of an effort to help answer some of the complicated questions about comprehensive immigration reform. It will discuss what is in the bill and the amendments, and put into context why it is so important that we undertake this effort now. Participants will view a 40-minute presentation on immigration reform in general and specifically on the legislation itself.
